Grants and funding opportunities

Hospitals, clinics, and nonprofits serving the primary care, behavioral health, and oral health of our communities can sustain operations, expand access to services, and meet the needs of Utah's communities by utilizing local and federal funding resources.

Assistance for People with Bleeding Disorders

The Assistance for People with Bleeding Disorders Program offers support for treatment and insurance-related expenses.

Applicants are required to submit a 4-page maximum proposal for a project aimed at assisting these clients.

The program serves clients who:

  • have hemophilia or another bleeding disorder
  • are not eligible for Medicaid
  • do not have insurance for needed services
  • have reached their annual maximum limit of their insurance plan
  • face insurance premiums that are 7.5 percent or more of their annual adjusted gross income

Total amount available: $100,000 a year for 5 years (total of $500,000).
Funding is dependent on the requirements established by the Utah State Legislature.
